About the Opportunity

This permanent opportunity is ideal for a senior Law Clerk who thrives in regulated, fast-paced environments and values ownership in their work. You will join a growing organization within the financial services and insurance space, supporting compliance and legal operations across multiple Canadian jurisdictions.

Working as part of a small, collaborative Legal and Compliance team, you will partner closely with business leaders, sales, finance, and IT to ensure agreements, licensing, and regulatory obligations are managed accurately and on time. With a long-tenured incumbent transitioning out, this role plays a critical part in maintaining continuity and supporting ongoing business growth.

What’s In It for You

You will step into a trusted, senior individual contributor role where your experience is valued and relied upon. The organization offers a supportive, people-first culture with a strong focus on professional development, mentorship, and inclusion. You will gain exposure to complex, multi-provincial compliance work, a structured hybrid model, and opportunities to continue growing your expertise within a stable, long-term environment.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll independently manage corporate records, regulatory filings, and licensing requirements across multiple provinces.
  • In this role, you’ll review, prepare, and oversee a high volume of dealer and commercial agreements.
  • You’ll partner closely with internal stakeholders to support compliance needs tied to sales and business operations.
  • You’ll ensure documentation is accurate, organized, and audit-ready at all times.
  • You’ll support and mentor junior team members through day-to-day guidance and knowledge sharing.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of progressive experience as a certified Law Clerk in a corporate or compliance-focused role
  • Experience within insurance, automotive, financial services, or similarly regulated industries
  • Strong background in corporate records management, licensing, and regulatory filings
  • Comfortable managing agreements independently in a high-volume environment
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and confident working autonomously
  • Law firm or in-house corporate experience is welcome
