As Manager, Total Rewards, you will partner with senior leaders to design fair, transparent, and future-ready compensation and benefits programs. You will lead a team, guide strategic decision making, and champion practices that advance equity, data integrity, and organizational effectiveness. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned Total Rewards professional who thrives in a complex, unionized environment and is eager to modernize systems and processes.

What’s In It for You

You will join a workplace that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovative thinking. This is a chance to influence organization-wide programs, build strong relationships with executive leaders, and contribute to a culture that prioritizes fairness and transparency.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll lead job evaluation processes for both union and non-union groups, co-chairing committees and ensuring consistency across the organization.

  • You’ll guide leaders on job design, maintain evaluation systems, and oversee accurate HRIS updates.

  • You’ll conduct compensation studies, internal equity reviews, and market analyses, presenting insights to senior leadership.

  • You’ll monitor legislative changes, ensuring compliance with Pay Equity, ESA, and pay transparency requirements.

  • You’ll oversee benefits, pension, and disability programs, including renewals, audits, reconciliations, and reporting.

  • You’ll manage annual compensation cycles, forecasting, compression reviews, and executive compensation support.

  • You’ll drive process and technology improvements that enhance automation, data quality, and program delivery.

  • You’ll integrate DEI principles into Total Rewards practices, support pay transparency communication, and mentor team members.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits within a large, complex, unionized environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.

  • CCP and CEBS certifications or equivalent experience, with CHRL considered an asset.

  • Advanced analytical skills, including strong Excel capabilities and comfort with HRIS and compensation planning systems.

  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and provide consultative, data-driven guidance.

  • Experience leading and developing HR or Total Rewards teams.

  • Knowledge of DEI principles, pay transparency requirements, and managing sensitive compensation matters.
