About the Opportunity

Altis Recruitment is partnering with a growing organization in the real estate development sector to hire a Project Coordinator. This is a newly created role supporting a high-volume pipeline of multi-residential and mixed-use development projects. It is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex workflows and keeping multiple moving pieces aligned.

You will work closely with senior leadership, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects move smoothly through early development stages. This role plays a key part in coordinating timelines, managing documentation, and maintaining communication across teams, allowing leadership to stay focused on strategic priorities.

What’s In It for You

You’ll join a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment that values accountability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. The team fosters a culture that balances high performance with a supportive and engaging atmosphere, including team initiatives and community involvement.

This role offers strong exposure to the full development lifecycle, with opportunities to take ownership of systems and processes as the organization continues to scale. It is a great fit for someone looking to build a long-term career in development coordination and operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll coordinate day-to-day communication with external consultants, ensuring deliverables are tracked, complete, and submitted on time.
  • In this role, you’ll manage document control systems, maintaining organized filing structures and ensuring compliance across multiple active projects.
  • You’ll support due diligence and pre-construction activities, including preparing RFPs, tracking proposals, and coordinating consultant onboarding.
  • You’ll schedule and support project meetings, prepare agendas, capture notes, and track action items to keep projects progressing.
  • You’ll maintain project schedules and approvals tracking, ensuring timelines are met and stakeholders are kept informed.
  • You’ll identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and templates as the development function continues to grow.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in project coordination or administration, real estate development, construction, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and document management skills, with a detail-oriented and process-driven mindset.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Google Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects on track in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in real estate, construction, or development environments is considered an asset.
