About the Opportunity

Altis Recruitment is partnering with a growing Canadian manufacturer in the healthcare equipment sector to hire a Business Development Manager focused on dental and medical cabinetry solutions. This organization is known for high quality craftsmanship, strong distributor partnerships, and a commitment to expanding its footprint across Ontario.

This is a relationship driven, business development focused role where you will be the face of the brand across Ottawa and Toronto. You will collaborate closely with major dental distributors while also developing direct relationships within medical clinics, veterinary practices, and specialty healthcare offices. If you enjoy building territory from the ground up and being on the road meeting clients, this opportunity offers real ownership and earning potential.

What’s in it for You

You will join a collaborative, entrepreneurial organization that values initiative and relationship building. With strong product backing and established distributor listings, you will have the platform and tools to grow a thriving territory.

This permanent opportunity offers a competitive base salary plus quarterly commission structure, monthly car allowance, and mileage reimbursement. High performers have the opportunity to exceed six figures in total earnings.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll develop and execute a territory growth strategy across Ottawa and Toronto, focusing on expanding distributor partnerships and opening new accounts.

  • You’ll build strong relationships with dental distribution representatives and position products within their sales channels.

  • You’ll identify and pursue direct opportunities within medical, veterinary, and specialty clinics.

  • You’ll deliver compelling product presentations, provide samples and proposals, and negotiate pricing to close new business.

  • You’ll track pipeline activity, manage forecasts, and achieve quarterly sales targets tied to revenue growth.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of progressive sales or business development experience, ideally within dental, medical equipment, or healthcare related industries.

  • Proven ability to build territory and open new accounts through relationship driven selling.

  • Experience working with distributors or dealership networks is considered a strong asset.

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Self motivated and comfortable spending the majority of the week on the road.

Note from the Hiring Manager

“We’re looking for someone who is confident walking into a dealership, building trust, and representing our brand with professionalism. Attitude and drive matter just as much as industry background.”
