Our client, a respected public sector organization, is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Officer to join their People and Culture team. This is a pivotal role that blends strategic partnership with hands-on recruitment delivery in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll manage full-cycle recruitment for a diverse portfolio of requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- You’ll oversee job postings, sourcing strategies, screening, interview coordination, reference and background checks, and offer preparation.
- You’ll act as a strategic partner to hiring leaders, anticipating needs and delivering expert hiring guidance.
- You’ll develop innovative and inclusive sourcing strategies, building internal and external talent pipelines.
- You’ll maintain recruitment data integrity, leveraging labour market insights and dashboards to inform hiring decisions.
- You’ll represent the organization at career fairs and networking events, strengthening employer brand presence.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience within corporate, agency, or blended environments.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario’s Employment Standards Act and employment equity legislation.
- Advanced sourcing expertise, including LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent search tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume requisitions while delivering exceptional service.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and confidence presenting recruitment insights.
- Professional integrity, independent work ethic, and ability to collaborate effectively.
