This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established Canadian organization in the home services and energy solutions sector as a Disability Claims Coordinator. Sitting within the HR team, you will play a key role in supporting employees and leaders through workplace injury and disability processes with professionalism, clarity, and care.
You will work closely with HR leadership and managers across Canada to coordinate occupational and non-occupational claims, support return-to-work planning, and ensure compliance with legislation. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who understands the language of WSIB and return-to-work programs and is eager to build deeper expertise in a structured, supportive environment.

You’ll coordinate and submit WSIB, WCB, and Short-Term Disability claims accurately and within legislated deadlines.
You’ll collaborate with managers to develop and support early and safe Return-to-Work plans, including modified duties.
You’ll maintain detailed claim documentation and generate reports and dashboards to track trends and costs.
You’ll communicate confidently with Compensation Boards, insurance providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely updates and decisions.
You’ll support leaders through accommodations and coach them on process, compliance, and best practices.
1 to 2 years of progressive HR experience with exposure to WSIB, WCB, disability claims administration, or Return-to-Work planning.
Working knowledge of WSIA, OHSA, Human Rights Code, AODA, and related legislation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to navigate sensitive conversations.
Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with Parklane is an asset.
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.
