This is an opportunity to join a leading national retail organization in the sporting goods and apparel space, where pricing plays a critical role in shaping customer experience and business performance. As a Pricing Analyst, you will be part of a collaborative merchandising support team that ensures accuracy, compliance, and execution across both physical stores and ecommerce channels.

In this role, you will work closely with merchandising, ecommerce, store operations, and system support teams to bring promotional events and pricing strategies to life. Your work will directly impact how products are positioned in market, ensuring alignment with vendor agreements, legal compliance standards, and overall merchandising strategy.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll build and execute price events to support promotional periods, list price updates, and product markdowns across stores and ecommerce platforms.
  • You’ll ensure vendor minimum advertised price agreements are reviewed and adhered to prior to pricing execution.
  • You’ll communicate pricing strategies to merchandising and ecommerce teams to support seamless rollout.
  • You’ll audit promotional, permanent, and clearance price events, identifying discrepancies and entering required corrections.
  • You’ll partner with store operations and system support teams to investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies.
  • You’ll monitor released pricing events, tracking data flow and event volume to ensure accuracy and compliance.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years of retail and or purchasing experience, ideally within sporting goods, footwear, or apparel.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and standard office software, with experience in reporting and analytics.
  • Knowledge of pricing or inventory management systems, experience with PMM or similar tools is an asset.
  • Familiarity with pricing software such as Maestro is an asset.
  • Experience with SQL or Visual Basic is considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions
