About the Opportunity

Our leading retail client, Canadian Tire Corporation, is seeking a Senior Analyst, Omni Channel Analytics to join their growing eCommerce analytics team. In this high-impact role, you will lead advanced analytics initiatives, support enterprise data migration efforts, and deliver actionable business insights that shape digital and omnichannel performance.

As the Senior Analyst, you will serve as a key partner to cross-functional stakeholders, building advanced Power BI dashboards, ensuring data quality and governance, and acting as a subject matter expert for eCommerce data. You will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making through deep analytical insights, strong data stewardship practices, and technical expertise across modern data platforms.

This role blends technical expertise, business acumen, and stakeholder leadership within a fast-paced, collaborative retail environment.

Your Responsibilities

You will:

  • Lead the migration of eCommerce data to the iHub platform, ensuring accurate and seamless data transfer from legacy systems
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all eCommerce data-related matters, maintaining data integrity, accuracy, and reliability
  • Develop advanced Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights for cross-functional teams
  • Establish and implement data stewardship and governance processes to ensure consistent data standards across systems
  • Conduct ongoing data quality monitoring, identifying and resolving anomalies through structured incident management workflows
  • Manage data mapping and metadata documentation, ensuring version control and alignment with enterprise standards
  • Perform proactive analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and growth opportunities across digital and omnichannel performance
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear business insights
  • Stay current on emerging trends and best practices in eCommerce analytics and data management

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, eCommerce data analysis, or omnichannel retail environments
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI (or similar visualization tools) with demonstrated experience building executive-level dashboards
  • Strong technical expertise in Azure Synapse, Hadoop, and/or Snowflake
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with database management
  • Working knowledge of Python and/or PySpark for data analysis and transformation
  • Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, data quality frameworks, and master data management
  • Proven ability to translate complex datasets into strategic business insights
  • Exceptional analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with experience engaging stakeholders at multiple organizational levels

Our typical hiring range is between $70,000 and $90,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
