About the Opportunity

Our leading retail client, Canadian Tire Corporation, is seeking a Senior Consultant to join their Business Optimization team. In this high-impact role, you will lead initiatives that maximize productivity, profitability, and operational efficiency across corporate teams and Dealers. You will leverage AI-driven analytics, automation tools, and strategic insights to simplify processes, reduce costs, and support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives aligned with the True North Strategy.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and Dealer committees to identify opportunities that deliver measurable business value. You’ll provide practical solutions that bridge operational needs and enterprise priorities, contributing to a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and collaboration in a fast-paced retail environment.

Your Responsibilities

You will:

  • Support enterprise productivity initiatives from planning to execution, tracking progress and delivering results
  • Prepare and present clear, actionable materials to senior leadership and Dealer committees
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that simplify processes and enhance profitability
  • Leverage AI-driven analytics, automation, and data insights to identify opportunities for operational improvement
  • Ensure alignment of initiatives with True North Strategy, business goals, and change management practices

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in retail, including Store Operations, Fulfillment, Omnichannel, or eCommerce is a must.
  • Strong understanding of the Dealer model, store operations, and retail merchandising practices.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional projects using Agile or other recognized project management frameworks.
  • Skilled in AI-driven analysis, strategic thinking, and solving complex business problems.
  • Certifications such as Agile, Scrum, Product Owner, SAFe, PMP, or Six Sigma are an asset.
  • Excellent presentation skills, able to create clear, persuasive materials for stakeholders at all levels, including Dealers and executives.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-changing, ambiguous environment.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines effectively.
  • Collaborative and influential, building strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups to advance initiatives.
  • Experienced in supporting the development and execution of business strategies that drive financial and operational results.

Our typical hiring range is between $65,000 and $80,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
