As a Decision Support Analyst, you’ll develop and maintain applications that drive operational efficiency across our Operations Planning Centre (OPC). You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of IT professionals, business stakeholders, and supply chain experts, contributing directly to the smooth flow of products and processes.

This position offers the chance to leverage your coding, database, and analytical skills while gaining hands-on experience with advanced technologies, including AI-enabled tools and data platforms. You’ll support key decision-making, enhance reporting, and optimize applications that have a tangible impact on our operations.

What’s In It for You

You’ll be part of a culture that values learning, innovation, and collaboration. Exposure to multiple systems, integration projects, and Big Data platforms will give you the opportunity to grow your technical toolkit while making meaningful contributions. You’ll work in an environment that celebrates problem-solving, continuous improvement, and the sharing of expertise across teams.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll develop, document, and maintain applications in line with IT and industry standards.
  • You’ll provide ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization for existing applications, including participating in a 24/7 support rotation.
  • You’ll deliver ad-hoc reporting, database support, and analysis to assist operational decision-making.
  • You’ll collaborate with users and stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate alternatives, and provide clear recommendations.
  • You’ll stay current with emerging technologies, coding languages, and database software to enhance system efficiency.
  • You’ll contribute to the integration of CTR systems and processes with other business units across the organization.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in full lifecycle application development, database design, and implementation.
  • Post-secondary education in computer science, engineering, business, or logistics with technology-oriented content.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain business processes and retail principles.
  • Proficiency in web development (ASP.NET, C# with AJAX toolkit), Oracle and MS-SQL Server, SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL.
  • Experience with SSIS, Microsoft Office (Excel, Access), and process diagramming tools (Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Knowledge of Big Data platforms (Hadoop, Hive, Azure, GCP, Snowflake), Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate), and ETL/ELT development is an asset.
  • Analytical mindset with strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple stakeholder levels.
  • Exposure to Unix O/S, web services, CI/CD pipelines, and programming in Java, JavaScript, Python, or R is an asset.

Note from the Hiring Manager
