About the Opportunity

As a Test Lead, you will ensure the quality of innovative web applications built with JavaScript and React. You’ll lead testing initiatives, develop robust test strategies, and drive the quality lifecycle from design through deployment. Your work will directly impact the reliability, usability, and performance of critical applications that support business objectives.

You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders, bridging technical and non-technical perspectives to ensure smooth product delivery. This role values initiative, adaptability, and a passion for maintaining high-quality software standards in fast-paced, Agile environments.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, including detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts for both frontend and backend systems.
  • In this role, you’ll collaborate across teams, diagnosing and resolving software defects while aligning with product owners on testable requirements.
  • You’ll conduct product demonstrations and engage stakeholders, translating technical details into clear, actionable insights.
  • You’ll identify, report, and resolve issues using Azure DevOps, performing regression, integration, and automation testing to ensure stability and scalability.
  • You’ll drive process improvement by advocating innovative QA methodologies and adapting testing practices to evolving project needs.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience, including frontend (UI/UX) and backend testing of JavaScript and React applications.
  • 5-7 years of manual testing experience and 1-2 years of running automation scripts.
  • Deep understanding of modern web development technologies and testing frameworks. 
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, CI/CD processes, and cloud-based testing (Azure/AWS).
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate strategic goals into tactical plans.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on clarity and collaboration.
