This organization is making a significant investment in engineering empowerment at scale. As an SDLC Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how engineering teams build, deploy, and operate software with confidence, speed, and consistency. Your work will directly reduce friction for developers while improving reliability, security, and cost control across the delivery lifecycle.
You will sit at the intersection of platform engineering, automation, and developer experience. Working closely with engineering, security, architecture, and operations teams, you will help define and deliver self-service “paved roads” that remove toil, standardize best practices, and enable teams to focus on building value rather than managing complexity.
You’ll join a collaborative engineering culture that values craftsmanship, quality, and thoughtful automation. This is a role where influence matters, your ideas shape platform direction, and your work has visible impact across the organization. Expect exposure to modern Azure-native tooling, meaningful technical ownership, and a workplace that supports continuous learning and improvement.
You’ll lead the automation strategy for the common engineering ecosystem, defining the north star for self-service and paved road experiences.
In this role, you’ll design and deliver a self-service kiosk integrating Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Ansible, and Terraform for standardized provisioning.
You’ll engineer secure, observable, and scalable Azure-native solutions using services such as App Service, Functions, AKS, Key Vault, and Monitor.
You’ll build reusable .NET and PowerShell automation assets including libraries, modules, and pipeline templates.
You’ll extend Azure DevOps through repository-as-code and pipeline-as-code patterns, governance controls, and REST API automation.
You’ll embed quality engineering practices and automated testing across CI/CD pipelines.
You’ll partner across platform, security, architecture, and product teams to land change with empathy and accountability.
You’ll define and track telemetry, adoption metrics, and service indicators to drive continuous improvement.
6+ years of experience across software development, automation, testing, or platform engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, templates, policies, and REST APIs.
Advanced PowerShell scripting and workflow automation expertise.
Proven .NET development experience with a focus on maintainable, testable solutions.
Solid experience designing and operating Azure solutions.
A quality-first mindset with experience embedding automated testing into delivery pipelines.
Strong influencing skills and the ability to lead without formal authority.
“We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about developer experience and quality, and who enjoys building platforms that make other engineers more effective every day.”
