About the Opportunity

Our client, a large enterprise organization within the public sector and retail services space, is seeking an experienced SAP Quality Assurance Lead / Manager to support complex, enterprise-scale SAP initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring quality, stability, and business readiness across multi-phase SAP implementations that impact core operational and customer-facing systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional delivery teams, business stakeholders, and third-party partners, leading testing strategy and execution across multiple releases. This is a highly visible role where your expertise will directly influence successful program delivery, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across the organization’s SAP landscape.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll lead and mentor a team of testing professionals, ensuring testing standards, plans, and outcomes align with established frameworks.

  • In this role, you’ll define and oversee end-to-end test strategies, plans, and entry and exit criteria across SAP programs.

  • You’ll collaborate proactively with project teams, vendors, and IT partners to deliver all phases of testing.

  • You’ll manage testing execution across multiple releases, including system, integration, and user acceptance testing.

  • You’ll oversee defect management, risk tracking, and quality metrics, ensuring timely resolution and transparent reporting.

  • You’ll drive continuous improvement by enhancing testing processes, tools, automation practices, and reusable test assets.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a SAP Quality Assurance Lead or Manager role.

  • 10+ years working within SAP project environments, with 5 or more full lifecycle implementations delivered.

  • Expert understanding of SAP-supported business processes across Supply Chain, Finance, Retail, Merchandising, and WMS.

  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.

  • Advanced experience with test management tools, Jira experience is an asset.

  • Proven strengths in risk management, defect governance, and quality assurance best practices.
