About the Opportunity
Altis Recruitment is partnering with a leading national retail organization to find Digital Operations & Automation Lead to join their in-house media team. This is a high-impact role where digital strategy meets operational excellence, supporting internal Programmatic, Social, and Search campaigns that reach millions of customers across Canada.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Media, you will work cross-functionally with marketing, analytics, creative, and technology teams. This role blends leadership and innovation, offering the opportunity to mentor a direct report while building automation capabilities that elevate campaign performance across enterprise channels.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll lead campaign trafficking across Programmatic platforms, ensuring flawless setup and execution.
- In this role, you’ll oversee pixel implementation, audience management, and product feed accuracy to power dynamic creative units.
- You’ll drive automation initiatives across Programmatic, Search, and Social, enhancing operational efficiency and reporting capabilities.
- You’ll partner with channel leads to build and improve internal tools, including automated trafficking solutions.
- You’ll facilitate cross-functional digital operations meetings and develop best practices that strengthen workflows across teams.
- You’ll mentor and support a Senior Specialist, fostering growth and operational excellence.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in digital media operations or ad trafficking
- Experience with Tag Management Systems and Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) required
- Strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem and related platforms
- Experience in media buying and ad trafficking, ideally within a retail environment
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- University or college degree in a related field, equivalent experience considered
- Media platform certifications considered an asset
