About the Opportunity

Our client, a nationally recognized healthcare and not-for-profit organization, is seeking a Lead, Business Intelligence Product Developer to join its Data and Analytics Centre of Excellence. This role plays a critical part in strengthening data-driven decision-making that directly supports communities across Canada.

You will collaborate with analytics professionals, domain experts, and business leaders to design and deliver advanced BI products that translate complex data into meaningful insights. This position combines hands-on visualization expertise with leadership, mentorship, and strategic thinking, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both technical depth and organizational impact.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll architect and deliver advanced BI products including interactive dashboards, methodologies, glossaries, and deployment strategies.

  • In this role, you’ll lead geospatial analysis and visualization initiatives that support strategic modelling and forecasting.

  • You’ll translate business requirements into conceptual models, prototypes, and actionable analytical outputs.

  • You’ll mentor interns and practicum students, supporting capability development in visualization and geospatial analytics.

  • You’ll collaborate cross-functionally to embed BI products into enterprise decision-making frameworks.

  • You’ll communicate complex data models and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in business intelligence development and data visualization.

  • Advanced proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

  • Strong expertise in geospatial analysis tools including ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.

  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and relational databases.

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytics into business insights.
