About the Opportunity
Our consulting client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to play a key role in supporting the modernization of critical systems and helping teams move confidently toward a more integrated and data-driven future. The end client is in the financial domain.
In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across business lines, technology, and global delivery teams. You will join a highly engaged environment where your insights will shape complex workflows, support system migration initiatives, and strengthen the organization’s investment management capabilities.

Your Responsibilities
- You will work closely with business stakeholders and solution architects to translate requirements into clear system and interface specifications.
- You will analyze data flows, complete SQL-based data mining, and support complex integration and migration efforts.
- In this role, you will collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- You will support testing activities by validating data, reviewing workflow logic, and confirming alignment with business needs.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working as a Business Systems Analyst within the financial domain.
- Strong understanding of Investment Management business domain and concepts, e.g. discretionary vs non-discretionary management, rebalancing, trading, various instrument and asset class types, etc.
- Excellent data analysis with experience in performing integration between different data systems and define their interfaces.
- Proficient in database querying in order to perform data mining and data analysis.
- Proficiency with SQL, data analysis, and data mapping across multiple systems.
- Experience working with offshore and cross-functional teams.
- Background with investment or portfolio platforms such as Broadridge or Temenos is an asset.
