Job 1
Job Title:
Change Management Specialist
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Job Type: Contract, full-time hours, January 19, 2026 to April 30, 2026 with possible extension

About the Opportunity

Join a provincially focused initiative improving wait times and system efficiency across Emergency Departments and inpatient units in Winnipeg. You will engage diverse stakeholders and build practical adoption and reinforcement strategies that stick.
This role sits with Shared Health, the team that plans and coordinates patient-centred clinical and preventive services across Manitoba while supporting centralized functions for health organizations. Your work will help measure impact and sustain change across multiple projects already in flight.

What’s in it for You

A mission-driven environment where your change craft translates directly to shorter waits and better flow. A collaborative culture, hands-on access to clinical and operational leaders, and the chance to leave lasting improvements in a complex health system.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will engage stakeholders across clinical leadership and frontline providers to surface barriers and opportunities.

  • In this role, you will assess readiness, monitor adoption, and report impacts using clear metrics.

  • You will develop practical change strategies, communication plans, and reinforcement tactics aligned to wait-time and flow goals.

  • You will facilitate workshops and implement redesigned processes with site teams, then support sustainment.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years of change management experience in project environments, including stakeholder engagement and strategy development.

  • 8 years’ experience in organizational change management activities.
  • 1 year of experience working on strategic-level redesign of healthcare service delivery organizations including the alignment of clinical practices, establishment of new organizational structures, and standardization of service delivery.
  • 5 years’ experience in a team or project lead/manager role in a project environment.
  • Experience with readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis, and facilitating adoption of redesigned processes, preferably in healthcare or public sector.
  • 1 year of experience performing analysis work to determine how to optimize patient flow across multiple health centres.
  • Valid change management certification. Proof required (Pass/Fail).
