Job Description

Scanning Clerk 

Location: Toronto, ON, On-site, 5 days per week 
Language: English, required for clear written and verbal communication
Duration: Short-term contract through the end of March
Background Check Requirement: Criminal background check required

You’ll be supporting a community health organization dedicated to making services accessible and inclusive for everyone. Your work will directly support internal operations during a critical transition period.

You’ll help ensure employee records are digitized accurately and securely. With limited onboarding time available, this role is best suited for someone who is confident, self-sufficient, and comfortable jumping in with minimal supervision. Your attention to detail will play an important role in supporting a people-first mission within the non-profit healthcare sector.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll digitize physical employee files by scanning and organizing records into accurate PDF formats.

  • In this role, you’ll ensure confidential HR documents are handled securely and with discretion.

  • You’ll independently manage daily scanning tasks with minimal oversight.

  • You’ll maintain organized digital filing systems to support ongoing HR accessibility and compliance.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in administrative, clerical, or records management roles.

  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with confidential information.

  • Ability to work independently and hit the ground running with limited training.

  • Basic computer skills, including file management and document handling.

  • Reliability and availability to work on-site through the end of March.
