About the Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Business Centre Clerk to join our Business Enablement team. In this role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert supporting internal clients by managing mail, courier services, scanning, and other operational tasks. You’ll also assist with special projects and help ensure a seamless in-office client experience.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office environment, enjoys variety, and has excellent attention to detail. You’ll work closely with team leads and other internal teams, balancing multiple priorities while demonstrating discretion, flexibility, and strong problem-solving skills.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will provide high-quality customer service to internal and external clients, handling inquiries, issues, and requests professionally.
  • You will receive, sort, and process mail and courier packages, both domestic and international, using systems such as Canada Post “SendPro” and PremierOffice.
  • You will maintain office and copy centre supplies, monitor inventory, and support general office operations.
  • You will act as a “Buddy” for new hires and assist with training or onboarding as needed.
  • You will assist with scheduling, meeting room set-ups, and other administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
  • You will monitor databases and systems, log shipments, and provide tracking information to clients.
  • You will contribute to team initiatives, provide backup support across business centre functions, and support ad hoc projects.
  • You will adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and occasional overtime while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or minimum 5 years of relevant office services experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in office operations, shipping, or business centre support
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and discretion
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
  • Comfortable lifting boxes up to 50 lbs and handling occasional physical tasks
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality client service in a professional setting
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and project requirements
