About the Opportunity

This high-priority role is an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to play a critical role in funding and performance analysis for a public sector client. You will ensure clean, validated data feeds a key prioritization formula and translate outputs into meaningful insights, visuals, and actionable recommendations. Your work will directly influence decision-making and resource allocation across multiple organizations, helping ensure equity, transparency, and performance outcomes.

In this role, you will work closely with a senior Mathematician who focuses on interpreting results, while you focus on maintaining the analytical foundation and data quality. You will have the chance to collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, and other technical teams, transforming complex datasets into compelling stories that guide high-impact decisions.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll source, collect, clean, and validate datasets to ensure data integrity.
  • You’ll maintain consistent definitions and methodologies over time to support accurate analysis.
  • You’ll provide high-quality data inputs for the prioritization formula and analyze outputs from models, applications, KPIs, and deliverables.
  • You’ll develop dashboards, graphs, and trend analyses to translate data into actionable insights.
  • You’ll prepare briefing materials, recommendations, and visualizations for non-technical audiences.
  • You’ll identify system-wide pressures, equity patterns, and potential performance risks.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, validation, and reporting.
  • Proven expertise in dashboards, data visualization, and translating complex data into insights.
  • Strong attention to consistency and longitudinal analysis.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working in a multi-disciplinary team.
