About the Opportunity
This is a senior, client-facing Solutions Engineering Lead role where you will shape complex, high-value opportunities within a growing fraud and payments product portfolio. You will operate at the intersection of sales, product, and client teams, bringing together technical depth and commercial insight to help customers solve meaningful, real-world challenges.
Working within a large, regulated financial services environment, you will engage early in the sales cycle to define use cases, validate solution fit, and influence technical strategy. Beyond customer engagement, you will help scale Solutions Engineering best practices, partnering closely with internal leaders to elevate how teams collaborate, deliver value, and bring innovative solutions to market.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll lead technical discovery and pre-sales solutioning for complex, high-value opportunities, partnering with Sales and Client teams to deliver compelling demos, presentations, and discovery sessions that accelerate deal velocity and win rates.
In this role, you’ll shape opportunity strategy and solution design, creating executive-ready materials, proof-of-concepts, and technical recommendations aligned to customer outcomes.
You’ll assess solution fit, API-based integration requirements, risks, and trade-offs, providing technical guidance before and after launch to support successful implementation.
You’ll contribute to RFP responses and act as a technical escalation point across the sales, delivery, and BAU lifecycle, helping resolve ambiguity and guide decision-making.
You’ll develop reusable assets, documentation, and training materials, delivering enablement sessions and helping standardize best practices across the Solutions Engineering function.
You’ll act as a bridge between clients, product, and technical teams, serving as a senior customer advocate by translating field insights into actionable product feedback and influencing roadmap decisions.
You’ll partner closely with Client Relationship Leads to drive revenue growth, strengthen customer satisfaction, and identify expansion opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications
12+ years of progressive experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, technical pre-sales, or consulting roles
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline
Strong hands-on expertise in APIs, integrations, and platform-based solution design
Experience within payments, fraud, identity, or adjacent financial services ecosystems is an asset
Proven ability to influence and present complex concepts to senior technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in Agile, cross-functional environments
Excellent communication, storytelling, and facilitation skills, paired with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset and passion for continuous improvement
