Job Title: Enterprise Architect- Software and Platforms Architecture

Location: Toronto, Ottawa or Montreal

Job Type: Full time Permanent

Language: Advanced English and French, written and spoken

Compensation: $135,000–$150,000/year


This is a hybrid role with a mix of in-office and remote work. Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.

Your Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will define and champion a unified Enterprise Architecture vision that aligns business and technology priorities.
  • You will lead the evolution toward a business-centric architecture practice and guide senior stakeholders through strategic decision-making.
  • You will design and communicate current and future state architectures for major initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • You will help establish governance processes, promote architectural standards and evaluate new technologies for enterprise adoption.
  • You will mentor architects and business partners, fostering architectural thinking across teams.

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 10+ years in solution or technical architecture, including 5+ years in enterprise architecture or strategic planning is a must.
  • Understanding of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools, related graphical models and frameworks.
  • Expertise in SaaS, cloud platforms, hybrid environments and enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation and communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Experience navigating large organizations, balancing long-term strategic goals with practical short-term needs.
  • TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification is considered a strong asset.
  • Bilingualism in English and French.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or a related field.
