Job Description

Our client is seeking to hire a dedicated and customer-focused Helpdesk Support staff to join their team on a hybrid basis in Toronto (located near St. Clair Station).  This is a 6 month contract.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing technical support, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems for our organization.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am-6pm.
Pay Rate starting at $25/hour.
Location: Hybrid in Toronto.
Contract role: Starting ASAP - Mid June. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide helpdesk support (phone and email) to school boards, schools, and test administrators.

  • Respond to inquiries related to computer-based testing systems and assessment processes.

  • Support data entry, verification, and follow-up with test administrators.

  • Prepare and format documents and materials.

  • Provide general administrative and clerical support.

  • Package, ship, and track assessment materials and equipment.

  • Maintain inventory of assessment materials and IT equipment.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and/or French.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Experience in administrative or technical support is an asset.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 kg and stand for extended periods, as required.
