Our client, a collaborative organization within the health sector, is seeking a Lead Technical Writer to shape the final Feasibility Study Report for a primary care digital transformation initiative. In this role, you will turn complex clinical, operational, governance, and technical insights into a clear, compelling narrative that supports strategic decision making.
Working closely with project leadership and subject matter experts, you will synthesize diverse inputs into a well-structured, evidence-based final deliverable. Your work will help inform priorities related to digital infrastructure, EMR migration, readiness assessments, and prototype evaluations, ensuring the report reflects the needs of partners across the system.
You will take a lead role in developing a high-visibility deliverable that will guide future planning in primary care. This opportunity allows you to collaborate with clinical leaders, digital health strategists, and operational experts while applying your analytical and storytelling skills to a project that values clarity, collaboration, and thoughtful design.
• Develop the overall structure and outline of the Feasibility Study Report to align with project goals and scope.
• Consolidate and synthesize contributions from pilot participants and subject matter experts into a coherent final document.
• Translate complex technical concepts, including EMR workflows, data flows, governance, and billing, into accessible language for decision-makers.
• Integrate key components into the final report, including feasibility findings, risks and mitigation strategies, financial considerations, provider and patient perspectives, readiness assessments, prototype evaluation results, recommendations, and options analysis.
• Produce supporting materials such as diagrams, workflows, appendices, glossaries, and reference materials.
• Ensure consistency of style, tone, structure, and evidence throughout the report.
• Support interim deliverables, including briefing notes, summaries, and visual models for Working Groups and leadership.
• Align the final deliverable with the expectations of key health-sector partners.
• Proven experience developing large, complex technical or feasibility reports.
• Ability to synthesize clinical, operational, and technical information into clear, actionable narratives.
• Strong document design, structural planning, and narrative development skills.
• Knowledge of health systems, digital infrastructure, or EMR/EHR environments is a strong asset.
