Job Description
Our valued Federal Government client is currently seeking an IM Architect to provide expertise in developing key performance indicators to support the department in oversight, monitoring, and compliance of data management. This support is crucial for the ongoing transformative initiatives that aim to establish the department as a data-driven organization, particularly focusing on engaging with organizations and creating an automated tool for annual reporting.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Research and define appropriate key performance indicators that can be used to advance DSG’s business objectives;
- Review and align criteria with Government of Canada best practices and capitalize on reporting mechanisms already in place at the organizational level;
- Ensure minimum baseline criteria for legislative and privacy requirements, outlining laws and policies referenced;
- Perform gap analysis of existing and required policies, procedures, processes related to Data Governance and Management
- Provide recommendations for growth with international and industry comparisons;
- Perform and report results of advanced data analysis to improve long-term use, and re-use of data assets;
Qualifications and Skills
- 5 years’ experience within the past 8 years in IM Architecture and Data Governance
- 2+ projects in Data Governance/IM Architecture in the Public Sector
- VALID Reliability level Federal Government clearance
Education
- A bachelor’s degree within Computer Science is required
