Senior MuleSoft Integration Developer
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Mule 4 applications and APIs using Anypoint Studio and Anypoint Platform.
- Implement API-led connectivity patterns and publish API contracts (RAML/OpenAPI) to Anypoint Exchange.
- Build robust DataWeave transformations for mapping between applications.
- Integrate with CRM (e.g., Salesforce), Billing (e.g., Zuora), and ERP systems (e.g., Workday), as well as databases, AWS, message brokers, and third-party APIs.
- Configure and enforce security, rate limiting, and lifecycle management using API Manager and platform policies (OAuth2, JWT, TLS).
- Implement CI/CD for Mule projects and manage deployments to CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or on-prem runtimes.
- Troubleshoot, profile, and performance-tune integrations; implement monitoring, centralized logging, and alerting.
- Produce technical documentation, conduct knowledge transfers, and participate in architecture and code reviews.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, QA, and platform teams; participate in Agile ceremonies to plan and deliver integration work.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of overall experience in integration development and delivery.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft (Mule 4) development and Anypoint Platform.
- Strong competency with Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Anypoint Exchange, and DataWeave.
- Proven experience authoring API contracts (RAML/OpenAPI) and implementing API governance.
- Strong understanding of authentication/authorization and security patterns (OAuth2, JWT, client credentials, TLS).
- Experience integrating CRM, Billing, and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zuora, Workday), with expertise in both synchronous and asynchronous patterns.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines), Git workflows, and automated testing for integrations.
- Ability to analyze and translate data for a non-technical audience.
- Experience working with managers and stakeholders across Marketing Intelligence, Sales, and Finance teams.
- Experience with CloudHub and/or Runtime Fabric deployments and operational support.
- Strong debugging, monitoring, and incident investigation skills.
- Excellent communication skills and proven success working with cross-functional teams.
