Your Responsibilities
- You’ll lead and develop purchasing, production planning, and logistics teams through coaching, feedback, and mentorship.
- In this role, you’ll oversee production planning, scheduling, and material availability to reduce bottlenecks and shortages.
- You’ll partner cross-functionally to forecast demand, align capacity, and support business and customer needs.
- You’ll develop and track supply chain KPIs, including cost savings, inventory turns, lead times, and service levels.
- You’ll manage supplier performance, negotiations, contracts, and strategic partnerships.
- You’ll lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, compliance, and process optimization.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive procurement or purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP or MRP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Proven leadership experience supporting buyers, planners, or supply chain teams.
- Solid negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience sourcing niche suppliers and supporting custom manufacturing.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust across teams and suppliers.
