Job Title: Payroll and Benefits Specialist (Contract)
Location: FULLY REMOTE
Employment Type: Contract - Fully remote
Hours: Fulltime (Flexible Schedule) - PST
Compensation: up to $45 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our client's team on a contract basis. They are a fast-growing, innovative company dedicated to improving financial wellness for employees across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll for 180 employees accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local payroll regulations.
Maintain accurate payroll records and update employee information as needed.
Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
Address payroll-related inquiries from employees.
Work closely with HR and Finance to ensure payroll accuracy.
Assist with year-end payroll activities, including tax reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Proven experience in payroll processing.
Strong understanding of payroll systems and software.
Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
