Job Description
Our client, a leader in the apparel industry, is seeking a Community Impact Administrator to join their dynamic team. As the Community Impact Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration and data management of Community Impact core programming. You will ensure the movement of grant applicants through program stage gates and collate data across all Community Impact programs.
This is a part-time contract role (approximately 20 hours per week) based out of the client's North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as a known representative of the client's brand, reflecting the core values of the brand in all interactions with partners and the wider community
- Working with the internal communications team to deliver community impact content
- End to end administration of Community Grant Program including the application process, grant review, grant agreements, fulfilment of grants, etc.
- Administration of the Brand’s Strategic Partnerships which help drive impact for the community at large (collection of statements, fulfilling legal requirements, processing invoices etc.)
- Gathering data, distilling insights, and reporting on existing programs with the goal of continuous evolution and improvement
- Manage product fulfilment for our partners and communities as requested
- Assisting with the process and training materials to support community impact programming for retail and community team colleagues, ensuring their effective engagement
- Data entry, and data manipulation to meet reporting requirements of the brand
- Streamlining process for core community impact program management
- Documenting and updating key processes and policies
- You have 1+ years' experience working in an administrative role.
- You consider yourself extremely organized
- You have a strong desire, education and/or experience in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion values and principles
- You value deep listening and have a growth mindset when it comes to working with equity deserving communities.
- You have demonstrated experience building trusting reciprocal relationships
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel
- You can effectively manage multiple projects and strategize around competing priorities
- You are passionate about making change and driving positive environmental and social impact
- You have some understanding, education and/or experience in the apparel industry and/or environmental or social sustainability matters.
- You operate with integrity, and maintain personal accountability.
- You are highly collaborative with demonstrated effectiveness at building strong partnerships inside and outside your core team
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills
- You are positive, optimistic, and approach things with a good sense of humour.
- You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration.
