We are working with a Federal Government client seeking a Business Transformation Architect to join their team on a REMOTE, 1 year contract. This contract is anticipated to start in June 2025.

- High-Level Business Scope & Requirements
- Solution Requirements (High-Level) – SaaS, Prototype, or Proof of Concept (POC)
- Secure Project Manager & Team Resources
- Preliminary Business Case & Options Analysis
- Initial Project Tier Assessment
- Preliminary Privacy Impact Assessment (PPIA)
- Information Categorization Tool (ICT) Review
- Enterprise Architecture Assessment (EAA)
- Portfolio Impact Analysis
- Service/Product Definition
- Project Charter Development
- Resource Planning & Estimates
- Portfolio Oversight Board (POB) Presentations (Gate 1-5)
Qualifications and Skills
- 10+ years as a Business Transformation Architect
- 10+ years (last 20) in:
- Large IT modernization projects (Canadian federal gov).
- Business process optimization & transformation.
- Change management & risk mitigation.
- Large-scale data migration (incl. Dynamics 365).
- Reports & presentations to senior management.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Dynamics 365, Power BI) + project summary.
- Public sector IT experience (aligning with policies, best practices).
- Group facilitation (workshops, training).
- Business analysis (summarizing business needs/issues).
- Relevant certification (MBA, PMP, or Business Analyst cert).
