About the Opportunity
Our university client is undertaking a multi-year transformation initiative focused on modernizing core services and enhancing operational effectiveness. As a Senior Business Analyst, Finance, you will play a key role in shaping how finance services are delivered by bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
Working closely with cross-functional teams including IT, finance stakeholders, and external partners, you will help design and implement solutions that improve service delivery and user experience. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business requirements aligned to strategic priorities
• In this role, you’ll map and assess business processes, workflows, and data flows to identify improvement opportunities
• You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to design and implement service management solutions
• You’ll support system configuration, testing activities, and validation of functional requirements
• You’ll develop training materials and guide change management efforts to ensure successful adoption
• You’ll monitor project progress, risks, and timelines while maintaining clear documentation and communication
• You’ll provide post-implementation support and recommend continuous improvements
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of progressive experience in business analysis within complex environments
• Strong knowledge of requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design methodologies
• Experience supporting technology implementations, ideally within finance or shared services environments
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical thinking, organization, and ability to manage competing priorities
