Location: Remote in BC and occasional travel to Vancouver or Kamloops office

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to act as a strategic and consultative partner to both business and IT teams, supporting large-scale digital transformation initiatives. This role will play a key part in shaping customer-facing platforms that enhance player experience, strengthen compliance, and enable future personalization capabilities.

You will lead business analysis activities from discovery through implementation within an Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment, collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-impact enterprise solutions.

Your Responsibilities

You will lead end-to-end business analysis activities, including planning, elicitation, documentation, and validation.
You will engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, define business rules, and map workflows and dependencies.
You will partner with Product Owners on roadmap planning, backlog management, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
You will translate business needs into clear user stories and supporting documentation.
You will support current-state and future-state process mapping, including customer journey mapping.
You will facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, refinements, and retrospectives.
You will support development teams by clarifying requirements, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
You will identify gaps, risks, and opportunities through system and user analysis.
You may act as Scrum Master depending on team needs.
You will provide operational support, troubleshooting, and regular status updates to leadership.
You will promote best practices and support Agile adoption across teams.


Skills and Qualifications

8+ years of senior-level Business Analyst experience in a dedicated BA role
Proven experience leading large-scale IT initiatives from planning through implementation
Strong understanding of customer identity and access management models
Experience with digital wallet concepts and requirements
Knowledge of data governance, access management, and customer experience mapping
Extensive experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments
Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience


Preferred Skills

IIBA CBAP certification
Scrum Master and/or Product Owner certification
