Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll prepare, format, and proofread a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, factums, affidavits, and correspondence
  • In this role, you’ll coordinate document production using precedents, research, and lawyer instructions
  • You’ll act as a key point of contact, handling communications with legal professionals, ministry staff, and the public
  • You’ll maintain and update case management systems, track court deadlines, and manage file documentation
  • You’ll organize meetings, court appearances, and travel arrangements while preparing supporting materials
  • You’ll conduct legal and file research, retrieving relevant case information, statutes, and references as required

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a legal administrative or law clerk role, preferably in litigation
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, documentation, and court procedures
  • Advanced typing skills (50 wpm) and experience with dictation tools
  • High attention to detail with strong proofreading and formatting abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills when liaising with diverse stakeholders
