About the Opportunity

We are seeking multiple experienced Project Managers to support a Broader Public Sector client in delivering State-of-Good-Repair projects across transit infrastructure. This role is focused on leading projects from design through construction and commissioning, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality outcomes that support essential public transportation services.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, contractors, operations teams, and stakeholders to maintain and enhance critical infrastructure. Your leadership will directly impact service reliability, public safety, and the overall customer experience across transit facilities.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll lead all phases of assigned  projects, including design coordination, construction oversight, and commissioning activities.

  • In this role, you’ll manage day-to-day project administration, including documentation, site inspections, risk tracking, and reporting.

  • You’ll oversee vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with safety standards, technical specifications, and project requirements.

  • You’ll develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, proactively managing scope changes and mitigating risks.

  • You’ll facilitate stakeholder communication, lead progress meetings, and ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance are consistently met.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in transit, public-facing infrastructure, or maintenance facilities.

  • College diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering Technology, Building Science, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, building systems, and construction practices.

  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and regulatory compliance.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office, and a valid Ontario Class G driver’s license with access to a vehicle.
