Within its Data and Analytics Centre of Excellence, this role plays a critical part in shaping enterprise decision making and strengthening a data driven culture across the organization.

As Manager, Strategic Analytics, you will work at the intersection of strategy, advanced analytics, and people leadership. You will partner closely with senior leaders to deliver trusted insights, lead sophisticated analytics initiatives including AI and predictive modelling, and build long term analytics capability that directly supports healthcare outcomes and communities across Canada.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll lead complex analytics initiatives using advanced statistical techniques, AI, machine learning, NLP, and predictive modelling.

  • In this role, you’ll guide teams in translating ambiguous business questions into clear analytical approaches.

  • You’ll ensure analytical rigor, data quality, and credibility across all insights and outputs.

  • You’ll directly manage and coach experienced analytics professionals, fostering accountability and continuous learning.

  • You’ll partner with senior leaders to deliver actionable insights, business cases, and recommendations.

  • You’ll champion data literacy and promote adoption of consistent analytics tools and practices across the enterprise.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive people leadership experience managing analytics, data science, or BI teams.

  • Strong foundation in advanced analytics, statistical modelling, and real world business application.

  • Hands on experience with Python, R, or SAS, SQL and data warehousing, and Power BI.

  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders within complex, matrixed organizations.

  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
