Location: Kitchener ON, Fully On-site

About the Opportunity

This contract opportunity supports a healthcare organization during a critical records digitization initiative. You’ll play a key role in ensuring employee files are accurately prepared, scanned, and safeguarded.

Working closely with a team, you’ll help bring structure, accuracy, and care to confidential records. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role where privacy, organization, and consistency truly matter.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll disassemble, organize, scan, and reassemble employee files, ensuring all documents belong to the correct file.
  • You’ll prepare physical records by removing staples, paper clips, and fasteners prior to scanning.
  • You’ll scan double-sided documents with care and accuracy, following privacy and confidentiality protocols at all times.
  • You’ll flag any discrepancies or misplaced documents for review.
  • You’ll ensure files are never left unattended and are always securely stored.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in filing, records management, or document handling.
  • Proven attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive tasks.
  • Comfort with physical tasks including lifting up to 15 lbs, bending, and walking short distances.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with scanning equipment and basic digital file storage is an asset.
  • Availability to work full-time on-site, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
