About the Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity for an Infectious Disease Physician to make a meaningful impact within a highly collaborative public sector healthcare environment. You’ll provide specialized care to patients living with complex infectious diseases, including HIV, hepatitis B and C, tuberculosis, and other communicable conditions, in a setting where access to high-quality, patient-centered care truly matters.
Working alongside a large interdisciplinary healthcare team, you’ll play a critical role in supporting equitable health outcomes for a diverse and often underserved population. This role values clinical independence, trauma-informed practice, and culturally responsive care, while offering the chance to contribute to harm reduction initiatives and system-level quality improvement efforts within a nationally accredited health services organization.
What’s in it for You
You’ll join a mission-driven environment that prioritizes professional autonomy, ethical practice, and collaboration. This role offers flexibility through limited annual hours, exposure to complex and meaningful clinical cases, and the opportunity to influence care delivery beyond individual patient encounters. You’ll be supported by a multidisciplinary team that values respect, shared expertise, and continuous learning.

- You’ll assess, diagnose, and manage patients with complex infectious diseases through on-site clinics and consultations.
- In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, mental health professionals, and allied health teams to deliver integrated care.
- You’ll document all assessments, treatment plans, and follow-ups within an electronic medical record system.
- You’ll contribute to interdisciplinary care planning and continuity of care during transfers or hospitalizations.
- You’ll provide consultation, education, and guidance on infectious disease protocols and outbreak response when required.
