About the Opportunity

Our public sector client is seeking a Microsoft AI & Automation Specialist to advance their AI strategy and support enterprise-scale digital services. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy AI and automation solutions, including integrations with large language models (LLMs), Python applications, and enterprise platforms such as SharePoint, Databricks, ServiceNow, and SAP.

You will work closely with subject matter experts and technical teams to shape architectural plans and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support innovative initiatives. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge AI environment in the public sector, helping to modernize digital services across the organization.

This contract role offers exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, AI Foundry, and Copilot technologies, along with a chance to apply your skills in LLM integration, Azure, and Python development at scale.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will provide expert guidance on Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, AI Foundry, and Copilot platforms.
  • You will design and implement AI solutions, including integrations with enterprise platforms such as SharePoint, Databricks, ServiceNow, and SAP.
  • You will develop architectural plans and technical patterns to support the organization’s AI strategy.
  • You will work with stakeholders to deliver Azure- and AI-related solutions, sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
  • You will develop Python-based solutions and integrate LLMs to enhance enterprise workflows.
  • You will create user guides and technical documentation, supporting training and knowledge transfer.
  • You will perform testing, evaluation, and deployment of AI models and deliverables.

Skills and Qualifications

  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or related field, with strong focus on AI.
  • 5+ years of recent hands-on experience with Azure technologies.
  • 5+ years of recent hands-on experience with Python development.
  • 1+ year of experience working with LLMs and integrations with SharePoint, Databricks, ServiceNow, SAP, Power Platform, and MS Fabric.
  • Experience designing, building, deploying, and integrating AI models and solutions.
  • Strong understanding of model deployment and integration practices.
  • Experience creating technical documentation and user guides.
  • Proven experience as an AI engineer.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL is an asset.
