Working within a reporting-heavy environment in the financial services sector, you will collaborate closely with analytics partners and business stakeholders. Your work will translate complex data into clarity, applying modern automation and AI-driven approaches to improve how data is accessed, trusted, and used.

What’s In It for You
You will join a collaborative, people-first team that values curiosity, ownership, and continuous improvement. This is a role where your ideas are welcomed, your technical depth is respected, and your impact is visible across the business.

You will gain exposure to advanced Azure data platforms, applied AI use cases, and enterprise-scale analytics. The environment supports professional growth, mentorship, and a culture that values thoughtful problem-solving and balance.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines across on-premise data lakes and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• In this role, you’ll write and optimize production-grade SQL and PySpark code to support scalable analytics and reporting.
• You’ll automate ETL workflows and operational processes using Power Automate.
• You’ll prepare analytics-ready datasets and translate findings into business-relevant insights.
• You’ll apply AI approaches, including agentic and generative AI, to improve pipeline efficiency, monitoring, and reliability.
• You’ll collaborate with business and analytics partners, clearly communicating data concepts, limitations, and insights.
• You’ll contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and mentor peers within the team.

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics-focused data roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, including SQL and PySpark.
• Proven expertise in building automated data pipelines in hybrid environments.
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, and insight generation.
• Experience applying AI within data engineering workflows.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• A proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership.

Nice to Have
• Experience with KNIME Analytics or similar low-code analytics tools.
• Exposure to Power BI or enterprise reporting platforms.
• Experience supporting AI-assisted analytics or advanced automation use cases.
• Background working within reporting-heavy, business-embedded analytics teams.
