Database Analyst

�� Remote (Canada) | ⏱️ Full-time, 2 years (with extensions) | �� Reliability Status clearance required

 


The Role

We’re looking for a Database Analyst to join our team and play a key role in this transformation. You’ll design and optimize databases, build ETL pipelines, support BI tools, and help deliver scalable data solutions that improve how we serve Canadian SMEs.


What You’ll Do

  • Design, optimize, and maintain databases using advanced SQL.

  • Build ETL pipelines and integrate complex datasets.

  • Support BI tools such as Power BI and Business Objects.

  • Apply hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory and cloud platforms.

  • Implement SQL-based fuzzy matching for duplicate detection.

  • Use Git for version control and collaboration.

  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable solutions.

  • Deliver training, documentation, and demos as needed.


What We’re Looking For

  • Strong SQL and database optimization skills.

  • Experience with ETL, data warehousing, and BI tools.

  • Knowledge of Azure Data Factory and cloud data platforms.

  • Proficiency with Git workflows.

  • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).

  • Agile (SCRUM) experience is an asset.


Contract Details

  • Term: 2 years, full-time

  • Location: Remote (within Canada)

  • Security: Reliability Status clearance
