Key Responsibilities

  • Revise and edit translated materials for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

  • Conduct terminological research and maintain translation records.

  • Manage translation projects with external translators (quotes, instructions, feedback, quality control).

  • Track and update the status of translation requests.

  • Maintain processes and explore efficiencies for continuous improvement.

  • Occasionally review French website content for accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in translation OR a health sciences degree plus translation certificate.

  • Proficiency with translation software (e.g., LogiTerm, DeepL, TradooIT, SDL Trados).

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Assets

  • Certification from a professional association (e.g., ATIO, OTTIAQ, CTTIC).

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or health care fields.

Why Apply

  • Flexible hybrid work model (Ottawa or Toronto preferred).

  • Inclusive, supportive work environment with a focus on professional growth.
