Job Title: Bookkeeper/Receptionist
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3 month contract to Perm
Location: North York, fully onsite, parking available
We’re partnering with one of our clients to hire a Bookkeeper/Receptionist for their growing team in North York on a contract to permanent opportunity.
What You’ll Do
Manage accounting and bookkeeping functions, including AP/AR and invoicing
Process payroll for a team of approximately 9 employees
Track payments, support collections, and prepare reports
Liaise with the company’s external accountant on statements and tax matters
Build and maintain tracking sheets in Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
Support sales with invoices and client follow-ups
Cover reception during lunches or absences when needed
Assist with showroom activities when clients visit onsite
What We’re Looking For
2–4 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks and intermediate-level Excel
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment
Post-secondary education in accounting/finance (asset)
