About the Opportunity
Our client, a highly respected organization within the public sector, is seeking a Cloud Cyber Security Solutions Architect to support enterprise-level cloud transformation initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of security, architecture, and risk, playing a critical part in shaping secure, scalable, and compliant cloud environments.

You will work closely with senior cyber architecture leaders and cross-functional teams to design and guide secure cloud adoption strategies. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll provide expert advisory services on cyber security, cloud security, and technology risk to support strategic objectives
• You’ll assess current and future cloud architectures, ensuring secure and compliant design for migration initiatives
• You’ll identify risks, control gaps, and vulnerabilities, recommending practical, risk-based solutions
• You’ll design and maintain security standards, policies, and reusable architecture artifacts such as reference models and patterns
• You’ll lead threat modelling activities, identifying attack vectors and guiding mitigation strategies
• You’ll translate technical risks into business impacts and support governance reporting and stakeholder communication
• You’ll contribute to implementation planning and provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to internal teams

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in IT or cyber security, including cloud environments
• 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Security Architect or senior cloud security specialist in complex, regulated settings
• Strong experience designing and governing cloud security controls such as IAM, network security, and data protection
• Proven ability to assess cloud security posture and define target-state architectures
• Experience with security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001
• Knowledge of Azure and hybrid cloud environments, with relevant certifications considered an asset
