Step into a dynamic, hands-on role as an LIS Coordinator supporting a global real estate organization. In this position, you’ll work closely with scientists, lab staff, and third-party service providers to ensure equipment and documentation meet regulatory standards. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of daily laboratory operations, making a meaningful difference to the team and the organization.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll coordinate with staff on installation, maintenance, moves, and relocations of laboratory equipment.
  • You’ll ensure customer requirements are met by reviewing GxP pipette or similar instrument certificates and test records from service providers.
  • You’ll perform daily equipment preparation and set-up to support staff scientists.
  • You’ll replenish solvents and gather documentation for inspections and audits.
  • You’ll provide training support and backup for reviewing certificates and test reports.
  • You’ll follow standardized procedures to solve straightforward problems with guidance.

Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to follow established work routines and basic standards.
  • Effective communication skills for exchanging clear and concise information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills, including calculating percentages, discounts, and markups.
