About the Opportunity

Our public sector client is seeking an Application Support Specialist to support enterprise collaboration platforms used by thousands of internal stakeholders. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the stability, usability, and continuous improvement of SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments that enable teams to collaborate and manage critical information across the organization.

You will work closely with end users, technical teams, and project stakeholders to resolve incidents, manage service requests, and support ongoing SharePoint initiatives including migrations, deployments, and platform enhancements. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful public services while strengthening your expertise in enterprise collaboration technologies.

Reminder: Since this role is in Ontario, no Quebec contact required.

What’s in it for You

You will join a collaborative environment where technology supports important services that impact the community. The organization values service quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

This opportunity provides hands-on exposure to enterprise Microsoft 365 environments, cross-functional collaboration with technical teams, and the ability to contribute to large-scale SharePoint initiatives. It is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges while supporting end users.

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll triage, analyze, and resolve SharePoint and Microsoft 365 incidents and service requests within established service levels.
• In this role, you’ll administer SharePoint sites, including permissions management, site configuration, and document library support.
• You’ll manage and track support tickets using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, ensuring accurate documentation of issues and resolutions.
• You’ll support SharePoint migrations, deployments, and rollout activities, including post-deployment stabilization and user onboarding.
• You’ll identify recurring issues and trends, recommending improvements to enhance service quality and platform reliability.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of enterprise application support experience, ideally supporting Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online environments.
• Hands-on experience using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow to manage incident and request workflows.
• Strong SharePoint administration knowledge including permissions, site configuration, document libraries, and collaboration features.
• Experience supporting SharePoint migrations, deployments, or large-scale implementations.
• Strong communication and client support skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
