Location: Greater Toronto Area, ON, Hybrid, 4 days on-site per week

About the Opportunity

Our client, Canadian Tire, is investing in the future of its supply chain and transportation technology. As a Web Developer on the Transportation Development and Support team, you will play a key role in building decision support systems that power a high-performance international shipping network and omni-channel retail operations.

This is an opportunity to collaborate with Business Analysts, transportation leaders, and cross-functional teams to solve complex, real-world challenges. Your work will directly impact service levels, capacity planning, and cost optimization across a national retail footprint.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll analyze, design, develop, test, and implement software solutions aligned with transportation and supply chain initiatives.

  • You’ll collaborate closely with Business Analysts and client groups to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

  • You’ll contribute to the development and support of sustainable, multi-tier applications.

  • You’ll design and optimize databases to support reporting and operational decision-making.

  • You’ll act as a subject matter expert and support change initiatives within the transportation technology space.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of progressive experience in a Web Development or similar role.

  • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, Angular, Vue.js or React. 

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and SQL Server Integration Services.

  • Demonstrated experience building multi-tier applications and performing database design. Experience in ETL processes. 

  • Experience working within SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related discipline

Our typical hiring range is between $60,000 and $75,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements
