About the Opportunity

As needs arise you would have the unique opportunity to contribute to complex, high-impact national programs across areas such as defence, aviation, infrastructure, or other regulated technical environments. Working within a public sector environment, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, senior leaders, and technical experts to ensure projects are delivered with precision, accountability, and foresight. Your work will directly support decision-making at the Director, Director General, ADM, and CFO level, making your contributions both visible and meaningful.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll support engineering planning and delivery activities, contributing to technical inputs, documentation, and project governance.
- You’ll develop or review engineering artifacts such as requirements, specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
- You’ll collaborate with project teams to assess risks, constraints, and implementation options in regulated environments.
- You’ll provide clear updates and recommendations to technical leads and senior stakeholders.
- You’ll support continuous improvement by identifying gaps, process issues, and practical solutions.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive engineering experience in complex technical or regulated environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline from a recognized university.
- Strong technical writing skills, including producing structured documentation for stakeholder review.
- Experience working with multi-stakeholder teams and managing competing priorities.
- Experience in defence, aviation, infrastructure, or maintenance environments is an asset.
- Professional Engineering (P. Eng) license is considered an asset
