Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a SharePoint Administrator - Messaging Support. This is an exciting 2-year remote contract in Regina, SK. If you have expertise in SharePoint development, please apply!

Key Details

  • Location: Remote. The individual can work offsite, but must be willing and able to travel to Regina SK if needed. The SharePoint Administrator - Messaging Support may be requested to attend periodic sessions onsite with at least 4 weeks warning. 
  • Duration: 24 months
  • Hours: 40 hours per week. Overtime is not expected, but the the individual may be asked to change work hours to be outside of normal business hours, but not exceed 40 hours in one week. No on-call rotation expected.
  • Must Have: Expertise in SharePoint (3 to 5 years). Experience with OneDrive, M365 and Exchange Online. 
  • Mandatory Education & Certifications: Microsoft Certified Professional Developer - SharePoint and/or Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist - SharePoint.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Projects and support that include Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange Online.
  • Custom Web Parts, Workflows, and Forms: Developing custom web parts, workflows, and forms to enhance the functionality of SharePoint sites.
  • Site and Application Maintenance: Designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint sites and applications to ensure they meet business requirements.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Providing technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint-related issues to ensure smooth operation.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in SharePoint Platform: A strong understanding of the SharePoint platform, including its user interface, business intelligence, collaboration, and content management capabilities.
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Familiarity with the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Customization and Integration: Experience in designing, developing, and implementing customized SharePoint solutions and integrating them with other systems.
  • Technical Documentation: Ability to create technical documentation and user guides for new systems or updates.
  • Security Management: Ensuring the security of SharePoint systems by setting up and managing user permissions.

Education

  • Microsoft Certified Professional Developer - SharePoint
  • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist - SharePoint
  • 2 to 4 years of formal education
