Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Our public sector client is seeking a Solutions Architect/Senior Developer to work on innovative projects. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing and implementing technology solutions that enhance organizational operations and consumer products. You will be responsible for translating business objectives into scalable and efficient system architectures while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of AI-driven systems and infrastructure.
  • Defining AI architectures and advising leadership on compatible technologies.
  • Collaborating with security professionals to mitigate risks and ensure ethical AI implementation.
  • Designing and architecting large-scale, high-availability cloud-based solutions.
  • Developing AI models and integrating machine learning techniques into business solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, best practices, and strategic technology plans.

 

Mandatory Qualifications and Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud development and architecture.
  • Expertise in AI development, including AI prompting, system integration, and machine learning.
  • Strong understanding of Named Entity Recognition (NER), natural language processing, and large language models.
  • Extensive experience with AI infrastructure, application deployment, and operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI, AI Search, and Azure Cognitive Services.
  • Strong programming skills in Microsoft C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript (Angular), ASP.NET, .NET Core, and Blazor WebAssembly.
  • Experience with UI frameworks such as MudBlazor or Telerik.
  • Knowledge of Power Apps and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Experience in microservices architecture, Kubernetes, and container-based solutions.
  • Expertise in designing and modeling SQL and NoSQL database solutions (SQL Server, SQL Managed Instance, DB2, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB).
  • Familiarity with cloud security principles, including OAuth 2.0 authentication.
  • Experience working with DevOps and Agile engineering practices.
  • Hands-on experience with AI models such as GPT-4o, GPT-4o Mini, and Text-embedding-3-small.
  • Experience with mission-critical systems serving 1,000+ concurrent users.
  • Background in cloud-native development with Azure DevOps, Azure App Services, and CloudFormation.
  • Strong ability to guide and mentor teams in modern AI-driven development practices.

 

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
