We are seeking a Business Analyst – Change Management Practitioner to join a dynamic IT team supporting a large-scale enterprise asset management system upgrade. This role will focus on analyzing, documenting, and managing changes to system functionalities, ensuring a smooth transition for users. The ideal candidate will develop change management strategies, update user documentation, conduct training, and facilitate user adoption.
This is a contract position with an initial term of up to one year, with the potential for renewal. The role offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote and on-site work as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Change Management & Documentation
- Assess and document system changes across multiple project streams.
- Develop and execute a change management strategy and communication plan.
- Update existing user guides, bulletins, and other documentation.
- Training & Communication
- Design presentations and demonstrations to introduce new functionalities.
- Develop and implement training schedules, conduct sessions, and collect user feedback.
- Create and update requirements documentation and stakeholder communication materials.
- User Support & Testing
- Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system updates.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to users adjusting to changes.
- Collaboration & Reporting
- Work within an Agile/Scrum framework as part of a cross-functional team.
- Generate reports and insights for program stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and technical teams to drive adoption.
Qualifications and Skills
- 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in IT projects.
- Strong background in change management methodologies.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles and project management principles.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
